Last week when it was education outside the classroom week on Tuesday, May Road School were playing sports. Every class was with their buddy class room 14 was with room 2. The first sport we played was cricket. Cricket is a game with two batters, one thrower and fielders. The aim of the game of game is for the thrower to hit down three plastic sticks with a ball from behind the batters; and the batters have to bat the ball away. Then there was rob the nest, gutter ball, playground and sandpit, then my favourite game of all, t-ball. T-ball is like softball, when someone hits the ball after you have to the next platform. When you are on the last platform and someone hits the ball, you run to home base before the fielders get the ball onto the place where everyone batted the ball. It took a lot of cooperation with room 2 but I still enjoyed it! Walk around our neighbourhood
Last week on Wednesday, May Road School had a walk around the neighbourhood. I loved the walk because I noticed that some of the route was part of the route for cross country last year! I even noticed that there was construction going on. After, Ms Noakes let us play at Turners reserve. I thought the walk was very exciting and fun! After that May Road School took a picture under the trees. Then we all went to school and had lunch.
Jellicoe pools
On Friday last week May Road School went to Jellicoe pools. I was excited when room 14 entered the reception. A few minutes later, we all hopped into the pools. Astera and I were trying to find the right pool. We searched for quite a long time. Finally, I found the right pool but Astera didn’t want to come in so I let her be. Later in the pool I found, Maile was teaching me how to swim like a mermaid! Maile was the teacher Astera was the assistant and Arcadia from room 15 was the manager. Maile let me go in the lesson to let me swim. Then, there was a call to get changed of our togs and into our casual, dry clothes. I felt so refreshed on the bus back t0 school that I wanted to do it all over again.

Scene Description - Mariam Y4.

There is a girl stuck on a beach all alone right after sunset.  This girl has brown, chocolate looking hair and a turquoise tail. She was looking for precious jewelry under the sea water, but she got swept up onto the sore like a piece of seaweed. The girl is trapped on the beach with no one to talk to. Suddenly, a strange shadow come straight to the girl.

The girl tries to find a place to hide, she looks behind her and goes onto the flowers while the strange shadow goes straight from where the girl was. The girl was so scared now that she might get caught by the people walking on the beach. What  was the girl going to do?

It was now midnight and the girl still was stuck on the beach. She was crying like a little fish would cry.

A few hours later of crying, the girl noticed that it was nearly sunrise! The girl was still on the beach and crying, so the girl took a deep breath and then the girl saw people that were going to swim their cold, morning swim. Then the girl tried after the person left because they thought they had hyperthermia but luckily they did not have hyperthermia. When the girl tried, she was so proud of herself because she finally did it!

Scene Description - Maile

There was a huge giant with a tree on its head. He bent down to eat the little fluffy mouse with his long arm. It has so many spikes on its knees and arms, There were some humongous hills back there.  There is a sorceress or an old lady maybe controlling it or its her giant. Its sunset is as a bright light as shining armour. There is some trees and moss, some of the trees looks like its autumn because it has colourful orange. He looks very angry,

Scene Description - Astera

There is a beautiful mermaid she’s at the beach.

At that wonderful beach there is some lovely gold sand and there is the beautiful blue ocean with a wonderfall moon up the sky shining.

There is even a long tree with leafs  on it we can see the awesome pink flowers behind the girl.

The girl is very kind and pretty she looking at the blue ocean her hair is brown and wavy .

She has a shiny bright necklace on her hair there is a gold star on the necklace.

I can see the beautiful awesome sunset! The sunset is making the fluffy clouds dark blue.  

At the end of the ocean there is big brown mountains .

The mermaid is holding a crown its pink and it’s  made out of leafs .

the the kind pretty mermaid is sad and shes closing her eyes. The mermaid is magical and can do lots of awesome things.

Her tail is awesome its dark blue and light blue she has some scales on it there is even a pink bright necklace on her tail.  

It looks like it is night because the sky is a little bit dark and bright. There is some wind blowing and she feels the air.

There is a little bit of fresh blue water under her tail. The fresh blue water is keeps on coming out And in.  The mermaid is sitting down on the golden sand .   next to the mermaid are these two necklace they are made out of green grass one of them is pink and green and the other is blue and purple there are some flowers on those necklaces.

Ever first term we go to swimming this term I wasn’t here at March I came to school again and every day we went to swimming.At the beginning of the term our teachers told us what to do and then they gave us some free time to play in the pool.At the end of the term we had our swimming coaches and they told us how to do Back floating,front floating, treading,Duck Dive,.The  coaches showed us how to back float under water.What you need to do is bend your knees and go and bend your back and float.When you are in the sea and you are drowning you have to float in your back and put your hands up so people can see you if you see anybody and put your hands up.When you duck dive you have to feel the ground with your hands.When you duck dive you have to make sure your legs are shrait like you are wearing a mermaid tail.

The Fierce Dragon and the Knight - Amethyst

The fierce dragon and the night by Amethyst :D

In a stormy,cloudy night a fierce, mighty, dragon was with a brave, armar night on the fierce dragon that has armour on the dragon.The dragon is on a’ rocky,strong, rock or mountain. The fierce dragon  has sharp,strong,scary wings that has a sharp, pointy thing at the top of the wings. The tail of the dragon is nice and long, sharp and spiky to spike the person that tries to kill the dragon. Dragons have long or short legs that has sharp claws at the bottom of the legs. In the background there is mighty big,enormous  mountains that has white snow and on the ground all the way on the ground it looks like there is fog or smoke on the ground. Also there is a small,tiny castle that has pointy poles at the top of the castle i think. A night is something that has a red cape and has hard,metal armour. After that on top of the dragons head there is a head armour. One wing has some holes on the wing.
